Program Spotlight Fuyang

Fuyang, in the Anhui provice, has 28 children in our program. The vast majority of the children served by the program here have special needs. The orphanage deputy director and foster parents have said that since the Grace & Hope program started at Fuyang, they have seen huge changes in the children, who have become very attached to their foster families, and have learned to play with others, eat, walk, talk, and generally live the kind of life that a child should expect within a family. The Fuyang SWI truly wants to place more children in foster care, so we are working with them to encourage the finding and training of more foster families.

Sunday Sponsor Snapshot: Faith

Meet Faith. Like Grant, Faith is from Hefei in Anhui. A bright, involved nine year old, she attends public school in the community where her foster family lives. She is in grade 2, and gets along well with her peers. She loves having friends over to her home to play, and also loves to spend time with her foster brother. Thanks to her Grace & Hope sponsor, Faith is able to experience the extraordinary gift of an ordinary family life.

Meet Grant.

Grant is a young man from Hefei. When our Grace & Hope staff visited with him in October, he was so excited to show off the ducks and the dog he is helping to raise. He enjoys helping to take care of his younger foster brothers and visiting with his friends.
